Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 5, 2026

Welcome to BibleVerse, a service operated by BIBLEVERSE, LLC. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are. It applies to the website and mobile application.

1. Data we collect

2. How we use your data

3. AI-powered faith training

If you practice in writing, your response is sent temporarily to OpenRouter to generate structured feedback. If you practice by voice, the recording is sent to Groq for transcription and then the text to OpenRouter. We request microphone access and disclose this processing before the first recording.

We do not store the recording, transcription, or your original response as history. We retain the AI evaluation —summary, strengths, improvements, and next practice— together with scores and operational metrics, with automatic deletion configured at 180 days. The evaluation may refer to what you shared; avoid unnecessary personal information. This data lets you recover guidance, personalize reviews, and manage quality, safety, and spending. AI provides educational guidance and does not speak for God.

If you participate in Semilla research, daily feedback is optional. The answer and private comment have automatic deletion configured at 90 days; they are not sent as model instructions or to advertising. We retain your profile, progress, and trial dates while you keep your account. You can request a copy or deletion of this data through support; account deletion includes Semilla data.

My next lesson: teacher preparation and rehearsal

Editing proposals change only the notes fragment you choose. With your consent, OpenRouter or Groq receives that fragment together with preparation context: title, objective, supplied Bible texts, outline, questions, activity and the group’s educational preferences. Your private prayer notes are not included. We retain the submitted fragment and proposal for up to 180 days; no change is applied without your acceptance. Note dictation uses Groq only for transcription, without evaluation or subsequent delivery to a chat model. You can correct or discard the text before adding it to your lesson. This uses your access plan’s text or voice allowance.

My preparation keeps bounded daily copies, a note about where to continue, and the last reversible assisted change on this device, separated by account. These local copies exclude sources and prayer notes, are not automatically shared, and do not sync across devices. They may be lost when local data is cleared. Server export includes retained proposals and transcripts, not this local history; deleting your account also clears its local cache in the app.

We store drafts, passages, group profiles, and notes so you can continue preparing. Profiles describe the group; they should not include students’ names or personal data. Only people in your church whom you choose as reviewers can access the copy you share. The pastoral dashboard does not show private drafts or personal notes; you can revoke access to a shared lesson.

When you request guidance, we send the lesson content and your question to OpenRouter. With your consent, we retain the dialogue and feedback with automatic deletion configured at 180 days. For voice rehearsal, Groq transcribes the audio and the transcript is used as your question: it is also retained in that history. We do not store the audio file on our servers. The temporary device copy is deleted when you finish or leave rehearsal; if you leave during upload, it is deleted when the request completes. These records are included in account export and deletion. AI guides preparation; it does not assess your faith or approve your lesson on God’s behalf.

4. Payments and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are managed exclusively on Google Play and App Store. We do not store card numbers. We retain subscription status and, for pilot participants when measurement is enabled, transaction references, product, amount, dates, and environment received from RevenueCat. This distinguishes payments, trials, gifts, and refunds. Renewals and refunds depend on the corresponding store.

5. Legal basis (EU/EEA)

We process data based on: (i) contract (service), (ii) legitimate interest (improvement/security), (iii) consent (advertising, communications).

6. Cookies and analytics

We may use Google Analytics or similar tools. You can control cookies from your browser.

7. Advertising, attribution, and links

We show ads through Google AdMob. Meta App Events measures general in-app conversion events to optimize campaigns. AppsFlyer handles attribution, personalized links, invitations, and referrals. We do not use the Meta Pixel on this website as an optimization destination for app campaigns.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share it with essential providers (e.g. Google, Apple, Firebase, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, Meta, Groq, and OpenRouter) under confidentiality agreements.

9. Retention and security

We retain data as long as necessary. We use measures such as encryption and HTTPS to protect it.

10. User rights

To exercise your rights: [email protected].

11. Account deletion

You can request deletion by writing from your associated email to [email protected]. We will process your request except for legal retention obligations.

12. Minors

BibleVerse is intended for people 13 years or older. If a minor shares data, we will delete it upon notification from parents or guardians.

13. International transfers

We may process data outside your country. We use legal mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses when applicable.

14. Controller and contact
