Three ways to play

You can practice alone on your commute, challenge one friend with a code, or open a room for a whole group. Same questions, different company.

  • Solo, to review at your own pace.
  • Duo, to challenge someone by code.
  • Group rooms, for youth nights and small groups.

Ready to use in church

Youth leaders rarely have a spare hour to prepare an activity. A room takes under a minute to open and runs on its own.

  • Icebreaker rounds to get everyone talking.
  • Review questions after a teaching.
  • A room you can project on screen.

The four modes, and when to use each

The questions are the same; what changes is who you play with and what each format gets you. If you are organizing something for a group, the last one is what matters.

  1. Solo

    Practice on your own

Short rounds to review at your own pace, with no social timer and nobody watching. This is the mode for dead time, and the best one if you want to arrive prepared for a group game.

  2. Duo

Challenge one person with a code

You generate a code, send it, and you both play the same round. It works well among friends and at a distance: comparing yourself with one person motivates more than a general ranking where you are one more name.

  3. Group

A room for a whole meeting

Open a room, share the code, and everyone answers from their own phone. This is the mode built for small groups, Sunday school, and youth meetings; you can project it so everyone sees the scoreboard.

  4. Leagues

    Compete week to week

Games earn XP and place you in a weekly division. This is what sustains the habit once the novelty wears off: you no longer play because it is new, but because the week is already running.
